Explore the marine world at Hualalai

The Natural Resources Department offers many marine-oriented programs here at Hualalai. The department participates in perpetuating the Hawaiian principle Malama Ka Honua, protecting the land and ocean.

The most recent marine programs are:
  • Spotted Eagle Ray Feeding at the King’s Pond
  • Weekly Tidepool and Aquaculture Tours
  • Green Sea turtle tagging program (happening on July 29, 2009)


Marine Activities Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 10:30 am Fish feeding at the King’s Pond.

Daily
• 1:00 pm Spotted Eagle Ray Feeding also at the King’s Pond

Thursday
• 8:30 am Aquaculture and Anchialine pond tour
• Tidepool tour. Time dependant on tides, check at Hale Nalu for details.
